Description
Mother Natures Canvas: This old larch tree has withstood freezing winter temperatures of minus 40 degrees, searing summer heat, torrential rain, heavy snow, golf ball hail, and cloaks of ice, as it faithfully kept watch over this spectacular panoramic valley for decades. A few weeks earlier, when it dropped all its golden needles, the ground was completely blanketed by a soft gilded carpet. This looks like an oil painting by Mother Nature herself on an enormous canvas. Gorgeous autumn morning in late November near Lake Louise, Banff National Park, Alberta, Canada. Copyright Greg Hammond. All rights reserved.
